Find out how to lose weight is a challenge for many of us, especially considering that the quickest path to weight loss is different for everyone. Of course, the common denominator is always a proper diet and exercise, which not only helps you lose weight, but also to maintain a healthy body. Of course you’ve heard this before – the challenge is to move forward. Others have lost weight by following these simple instructions, and you can too.

Set small, realistic goals. If you have a lot of weight to lose, try to 5 pounds, relax a little and then go for 5 more.

Start a regular exercise program and stick with it.

Sneak in extra exercise in addition to their regular schedule. Park at the far end of the parking lot and walk, take the stairs instead of the elevator.


Healthy foods are an important ingredient in weight loss.

Eat healthy fats from nuts, seeds and olive oil, and high fiber foods such as salads, vegetables and whole grain pastas.

Choose foods that you like. Learn to prepare healthy, low calorie foods that taste marking portfolios to cook for new recipes. Eating well need not mean eating boring. (more…)

Lifestyle and training to know how to choose healthy foods

Assuming that I do not like to talk about “diets” as restrictions or prohibitions, but lifestyle and training to know how to choose healthy foods, I liked reading this repertoire of excuses from the hand of my colleague Alicia Kirschenheiter, coach health, I want to share with you about the most frequent difficulties in changing habits in our diet.

And we all know is that making excuses!.

How many times have you used any of these excuses to leave your diet and not being able to achieve your purposes  yourself feel better and healthier?

Then I list a few well-known, with a corresponding “anti-excuse.”

1) I do not like to cook!

Join the club!, Many people do not like. But if you look at a good supermarket offers and there are already many types of healthy foods that include proteins (chicken, fish preparation, organic meat), vegetables, salads, etc.. Cooking is all complicated or simple they want to do. Take grilled foods or vegetables in salads is a source of energy than always eating elaborate meals, cooked and seasoned. Have you thought about your purchase plan ahead in order to have healthy prepared foods to mealtimes. (more…)
